Glam by Jeet is moving to Albuquerque, New Mexico

Hi friends! I am so sad to leave the Washington DC area this winter, but am very excited to start a new chapter with my family in Albuquerque, New Mexico!

I will still come back to do wedding makeup and hair in the Dc area for existing clients that were on my books for 2020, but will start booking new clients as soon as you guys will take me in my new home in Albuquerque, New Mexico!

After tons of research on the best schools for our kids and amenities we wanted for our next home, we have settled on a home in the Tanoan neighborhood right in the heart of the city. The hubby’s commute will be a whopping 10 minutes long and he is very excited to have started a new job at Fiore in downtown Albuquerque. He’s very excited to not spend 3-4 hours in the car anymore and my daughter is very excited to live in a neighborhood that’s bound to have tons of kids her age + sidewalks + pool etc. Although she loved our beautiful 3.5 acre farmhouse property, she was really getting lonely in the last few years so I am glad that we are making these changes for our family so that everyone can be happier. I’ll admit I’m probably the most sad out of everyone in my household because I love you all so much and cannot express how much you have filled my life with purpose and happiness in the last 5 years — nothing will ever replace that and my heart is truly broken as I embark on this new journey. I need to stay positive, though!

We’ve had an amazing time for our entire lives in the Washington DC area, and look forward to making new friends, meeting new colleagues and working at new venues all over our new hometown. Please don’t hesitate to leave me a note in the comments or email me at Jeet.bahra@glambyjeet.com If you’d like to collaborate on a project or meet for a cup of coffee! I’m all for it!

Goodbye, Washington DC.
